Jewellery is made by both men and women. The women make the small beaded costume jewellery which they sell in the local markets. The men, often from Mali tend to collect more valuable beads and design their own necklaces. The brass & copper jewellery is made by the Peul tribe, from recycled materials such as copper tubing from fridges and electric wiring, The Mauritanians make their beautiful jewellery from silver, ebony and copper. The Tuaregs likewise, but they often use glass and semi precious stones. Filligree is also used by all these craftsmen. Earings Necklaces Bracelets, Rings & Beads
